The frequency of therapy depends on the intensity level of your current situation. Research has shown that 8 -12 sessions seem to be a magic number for long-term overall improvement for people.
Many of our clients feel a sustainable change take place after 6-10 sessions. Some clients need less and some need more, so it’s hard to determine what you will need. If possible, we encourage people to come for weekly sessions for the first few weeks to gain some momentum on the issues at hand. This works particularly well for clients who feel in crisis or are presenting more intense issues.
All of our providers maintain some sliding-scale spots. If you are ready to make a change and are needing to use a sliding scale, please schedule a FREE 10-minute phone consultation through our online scheduling software to discuss this option further with a provider. If the provider does not have a FREE phone consultation appointment available then all of their sliding scale spots are currently full.
Do you offer a free consultation?
YES! We offer a free 10-minute phone consultation to see if working together will be optimal for both parties.
While this is not a therapy session, it is a chance for you to tell your provider briefly about your current situation and ask any questions you have about your provider to feel more comfortable with beginning services.
Not sure if you’re ready for services yet? A free consultation can be a good start to determining your readiness for services. The best way to schedule your free consultation is online. Get started here!
Do you offer Saturday appointments?
Unfortunately, at this time we are not taking new clients on the weekends. We do offer early morning and evening appointments during the week to help with scheduling issues. If you are a therapist looking to work on the weekends and in the evenings, send us an email with your resume and cover letter!
Do you take insurance?
Keith Williams, Ashley Vaden, and Elizabeth McCormack are accepting HUMANA commercial insurance (not Medicaid or Medicare). To use your insurance, we require you to schedule a free 10-minute consult.
Keith Williams accepts a limited number of Anthem/BCBS commercial insurance clients ((not Medicaid or Medicate) upon consultation. Those utilizing Anthem/BCBS are required to schedule a consult call with Keith prior to scheduling an initial appointment.
What about Out-of-Network Benefits?
If you have another insurance carrier (Aetna, Cigna, United, etc.), we encourage you to check with them about your out-of-network benefits. We have several clients who successfully use their out-of-network benefits. Please contact your insurance carrier for more information. Oftentimes, it involves you paying your provider first and then seeking reimbursement from the insurance company. When using insurance, the insurance company does require a diagnosis from the therapist for the client. We have also seen where clients have a fairly high deductible ($4000-6000+) per year BEFORE their out-of-network benefits “kick in”.
With this said, Britt Riddle does not qualify as an out-of-network provider at this time. The other therapists in the practice DO qualify as out-of-network providers.
There are also many services that help you get reimbursement for your out-of-network services: Nirvana & Reimbursify
Do you offer a sliding scale fee?
All of our providers maintain a few sliding-scale spots lower than their full-fee rates. For Megan, all those spots are full. If you find that the provider you are wanting to schedule with does not offer a free 10-minute phone consultation, then all of their sliding-scale spots are full. The therapists who currently offer a free 10-minute consultation may still have some sliding-scale spots open.
If you are needing to use a sliding scale, please schedule a FREE 10-minute phone consultation through our online scheduling to discuss this option further with a provider. If the provider does not have a FREE phone consultation appointment available then all of their sliding scale spots are currently full.
