Kim Hamilton, MAMFT
Marriage and Family Therapist Associate
Is your child struggling and you don’t know what to do?
Is your anxiety and/or depression keeping you from living your fullest life?
Are your relationships with your partner, family, or friends strained?
I can help you reach your potential in your life and relationships. As a person-centered therapist, I offer a safe space, free of judgment, for you to learn and understand why you are feeling the way you feel and emotional regulation tools for dealing with those feelings. I believe that being able to pinpoint why you behave a certain way or what causes particular emotions and having tools in your toolbox to deal with them is the first step in healing and growth.
I work with children, teens, and their families to learn how to work together as a family to utilize tools within themselves and their system, as well as new techniques, to manage the issues they are struggling with and learn how to move past and forward from them. I help individuals to understand how their attachment styles and personality traits impact the way they behave today, and how they can implement positive coping skills. I also work with couples to understand their relationship behavior patterns so they can change them and begin making new interactions that help them feel less stuck and the relationship flourish.
