Ashley Vaden, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Do you feel like no matter what you do, you always run a little anxious?
Do you feel like you are very self-aware, but struggle to create lasting change in your life?
Is your teen a high achiever outwardly, but struggling with self-confidence and self-worth inwardly?
Are you a therapist seeking an environment where you don’t feel like a caretaker?
Are you the “peace keeper” for your family, often working behind the scenes to resolve issues and keep things afloat?
Do you often feel unseen or invisible in your relationships with others? Are you tired of traditional talk therapy?
Are you a couple that feels relatively “healthy,” but there are still some kinks to work out in the relationship?
Do you find yourself wanting to feel closer to your partner but you don’t know what’s blocking you?
Do you feel like you have a great relationship, but know it could be better?
If you feel that past therapy has been “directionless,” I am the provider for you. My models are based in compassion, as well as skills. You’ll leave therapy with me knowing what to do, and how to do it. You’ll also leave with choices and an increased understanding of yourself, and what may be best for you or your teen. My experience with attachment-based modalities, Internal Family Systems techniques, and complex PTSD, has helped me to incorporate somatic practices into my therapy session, as well as techniques to reprogram deep subconscious wiring that keeps us stuck in harmful patterns and cycles. My eclectic and solution-oriented style makes me a good fit for a variety of adults, teens, and couples.
I work with people who are ready to do the work, but feel like they are dog pedaling. If you feel that you’re in a rut, stuck, or have done “all the things,” I am here to provide you with alternative solutions for your unique wants and needs. If you’re ready to look a bit deeper into yourself, and uplevel your life, as well as increase your own sense of self-worth and access to intuition, I am the therapist for you. My techniques are rooted in science and a deep understanding of human development and the subconscious mind, as well as systems and relationships. My practice incorporates nervous system regulation strategies, neuroplasticity and epigenetics, Internal Family Systems techniques, mindfulness and Eriksonian hypnosis, as well as somatic therapy.
